Each of these challenge templates are available in ChallengeRunner to quick-start your setup process. Simply select the
Copy and edit a pre-existing challenge from our database option when creating your new challenge.
Starting on January 18th and ending on May 2nd, enter in your daily wellness accomplishments and record your points. At the end of the challenge, the individual with the highest points will win a prize. Additionally, every participant who records a minimum
of 15 activities will receive a prize.
Here are the activities and the associated points that can be earned for each:
Sleep at least 7 hours = 1 point
Eat a healthy meal = 1 point per meal
Drink at least 32 ounces of water - 1 point/32 ounces
Meditate for at least 2 minutes - 1 point per 2 minutes of mediation
Exercise for 20 minutes = 1 point per 20 minutes of exercise (Activities that qualify as exercise are at the discretion of the participants. For example, walking a dog, running, swimming, yoga, pilates, barre, cycling, lifting weights, hiking, etc. are
all considered exercise!)
Hop Into Wellness program features:
Upon registration, select your division or department's team to join. If you cannot find your team, please contact Hop Into Wellness Administrator, Jamie Seward, at jseward@jhu.edu.
In the leaderboard, each participant can see how many activities they've recorded along with their point total.
Other participants' names will not be seen.
If you link a fitness tracker, the tracker's data will automatically sync with ChallengeRunner. You will not be able to override the data synced to ChallengeRunner.
Activities linked to fitness trackers will be automatically updated daily, which you will
only receive credit for completing the activity once.
Participants can join the challenge any time during the timeframe.
